Hi, I’m Luke Phillips.
I’m a Commercial Photographer based on Vancouver Island. I cover island wide (or rather long) from Victoria to Port McNeill and including Nanaimo and the Comox Valley, as well as Vancouver and Internationally.
My photography business is driven by a desire to achieve 3 key goals:
- Deliver inspiring images that reflect the best of my clients work.
- From this, build strong long term relationships with my clients that amplify their business endeavours while providing referrals for LSPMedia.
- Have a little fun along the way!
I founded LSPMedia while lugging a camera pack through the powder of British Columbia shooting snowboarding and skiing, before expanding in to bike and motorsports.
Inspired by a lifelong love of the mountains, I spent 10+ years following the seasons from North America to Europe to New Zealand and Australia. This work has been used by businesses and media outlets on multiple continents.
The seasonal nature of the winter sports industry gave me time to develop my other key passion – documenting Architecture – into a high end photography and filming style to balance my nature and sporting based work. Using these techniques I have produced premium marketing material for a variety of Interior Designers, Architects, high end Realtors, Hotels, Resorts and other Commercial Operations in the U.K, Europe, Australia and North America over the past 20 years.
In early 2011 I expanded in to Drone photography and film work, working in the embryonic Australian UAV market when I could immediately see the immense potential of these aerial cameras.
I am lucky enough to have travelled to, and produced content in a wide variety of countries around the world, and continues to develop new techniques while seeking inspiration in nature and architectural design.
I currently divide my time between clients in Europe and Canada and can sometimes be found chilling at home in the beautiful Comox valley with my wife and 2 children who dont mind me heading off on an adventure or two whenever the call comes.
